Emerson fans
Emerson fans are designed to fit a standard eight foot ceiling , for ceilings
above eight feet, the fan should be hung so that the blades are eight to nine feet from the floor. The higher the
fan is hung, the less air circulation near the floor. Ceilings lower than eight feet require the emerson ceiling
mounting kit or a northwind snugger fan to achieve the desired seven foot blade clearance. The dual purpose kit low
and sloped ceilings allows you to mount the fan as close as eight inches from the ceiling. Emerson
fans are aluminum cast with copper wires internally which keep the fan cool while its working and more
efficient. The motors in these are also include a silent hub that produces little to o noise and is very efficient
at being wobble free. The eco motor from emerson has super high quality and allow a complete lifetime of silent and
reliable operations. They come in a wide range of models and styles from the cool and comtemporary models such as
the 44 inch curva sky, to the much more traditional indoor 52 inch carrera veranda. Here are few models
52" Emerson Olympia Olde Bronze Ceiling

room, the remote control can be used because of the ceiling height. No need for a ladder, the remote is
all you need. This fan is easy to install. It is a bedroom fan for an odd shaped room and seems to pull
it all together.
52" Builder Traditional Energy Star Brushed Steel Ceiling

a light kit. You need to run a separate line to tie into the blue wire for the light. You don't need the
balance kit, these are a very smooth and quiet emerson fans. Energy star is a huge
bonus. The smooth finishes on the metal parts are an example of good workmanship.
52" Atomical Contemporary Outdoor Brushed Steel Ceiling Fan
w Light & Wall Ctrl:These emerson fans have a Very nice brushed
stainless parts, and dark cherry finish on the blades. They are completely silent, and the speed and light
control works perfectly, they have a contemporary. Just note that these fans don't come with a remote, you can
purchase it seperate.
54" Midway Eco Contemporary Appliance White Ceiling
Fan w/ Light & Remote:These emerson fans are very energy
efficient and moves lots of air. On High it only takes 24 watts and less than 5 watts on low.
These fans are built with a newly designed DC motor using permanent magnets to accomplish this
level of efficiency and it has 6 speeds. It is easy for one person to install as it allows you to hang the
fan and then wire it in. The instructions are easy to understand but a tad confusing as to which side of
the blades were supposed to face the ceiling. It has a tag on each blade "This side up", but remember to
install the blades when the fan motor is upside down sitting on the floor. It is almost inaudible on the
first two speeds and on the higher speeds you can hear the movement of air but never the motor. The only
small downside is that you cannot dim the lights as it uses 4 Compact Florescent with a color temperature of
2700K to mimic the color of incandescent lights. They are either on or off. The remote works fine, but uses
one of those 12v garage door opener batteries rather than easily attainable AAA. It doesn't wobble one bit.
If you run a fan all the time for air circulation one of these emerson fans
is certainly one of the most economical and quietest fans you can run.
42" Northwind Ceiling Fan in Summer White with Reversible
Blades: These are a nice basic emerson fans if you want
something without light kits, blends into the ceiling. They run almost silently but generate a strong
breeze if you want it to.
